We’ll I’m just over 20hrs now, half way. I have most of the major issues taken care off. The engine is running cool, no oil leaks, oil vent ported to exhaust. This flight I took off the sparrow strainer and trim at high speed was much better. Before, at 160kts, I ran out of trim and had to push forward pretty hard. Now, I can cruise at 160kts with trim.
This flight I flew beside a friend of mine in his KitFox and he took some pics. It took a bit of maneuvering to get my bird to fly slow enough, but we were able to snap a few. Unfortunately, it looks we needed a longer zoom lens. We also took a short video. Nice fall day here in New England with the leaves starting to change…
