Pitch AP servo

OLYMPUS DIGITAL CAMERAI’m using the Dynon Skyview EFIS which has built-in autopilot control.  I have purchased AP servos for both pitch and roll.  Most mount the pitch AP servo on the canard with a separate control arm connection to the elevator torque tube – this is also what I’ve done.  I created an angle bracket to mount the AP servo to.  Aluminum hard points were created on the canard to mount the bracket.  You might notice from pictures that while I was putting hard points on the canard, I also finished the hard points for mounting the Dynon ADHRS and GPS systems.  The AP servo bracket will be mounted with AN3 hardware and safety wired.

For a linkage to the torque tube, I used an aluminum square tube with a half hole drilled using a hole saw.  A U-bolt was then used to clamp it onto the torque tube.  Several holes for the AP servo linkage were drilled to allow for some range/sensitivity adjustment.  I may need to put range limiting bracket to avoid the servo going over-center.
