Panel wiring

OLYMPUS DIGITAL CAMERAI wasn’t really sure where to start wiring the plane.  The most obvious place seemed to be the radio stack, as it was the most complex.  Many nights pouring over the schematics I’d put together.  This is work I really enjoy, though.  Once I had the radio stack wired, I began wiring for power.  It went pretty smooth, but it took many orders to ACS and other suppliers to eventually get all the wiring, switches, lights et cetera.  I’m still not quite there, but getting close.  The panel is essentially wired up now, except for a few circuits that need 14 AWG wire that I forgot to order.  I want to be able to remove the panel relatively easily for upgrades, so as I wired the panel, I bundled all the wires exiting the panel along the co-pilots side.  Once the panel was wired, I grouped the wires together and used a 27-position circular jack (for almost all low-current circuits) and a DB9 (all ignition circuits).  I haven’t completely decided what to do with the main power cables yet.  Cables associated with the Dynon Skyview glass panel will have jacks that simply plug into the back of it.  I’ll add some  more pictures when the panel is complete and I have it installed.
