Phase I flight testing complete

I’m afraid I haven’t been very good at updating my blog now that I’m flying.  Phase I flight testing was completed on Thanksgiving Day, 2012.  I just needed 0.2hrs to complete it, so I went up around the pattern a few times just to dot I the and cross the T.  The next day, I took my son and his girlfriend to Provincetown, around Cape Cod then to Norwood for lunch.  I’ve take a few flights around just myself meeting friends for lunch.  Did some night flying to get my night currency back.  Took my wife to Lake Placid (~1hr from KORH) which was a very nice flight.  This morning I went with a friend to Chatham (KCQX) for breakfast – great restaurant.

Only a couple little squawks still dealing with.  Have a small oil leak on the pilot side of the engine that I can’t seem to track down.  Strangely, I can’t see much evidence of leaking on the engine, but have oil on the cowling.  Today I was wondering if it may be from the oil dipstick seal – maybe I haven’t been tightening it down enough.

Here’s a video that is sort of a compilation of a number of videos taken during Phase I flight testing:
