Here’s what I’ve been waiting for – my engine parts back from ECI! From ECI, I had the cases, crank, rods, cam and lifters refurbed. I also bought a gasket kit from ECI as well as piston pins and con rod bolts/nuts.
In addition, I had the fuel servo refurbed by Airflow Performance – they did a great job and very quick.
ECI had a hardware kit, but it was about $300. I went on McMaster and bought all the same MilSpec hardware for ~$100.
Finally, I had my cylinders refurbed by Don Goyette at Aircraft Cylinder Repair. Great guy. He’s was a great help with lots of advice (and tools!).
Its all ready now to start to put back together…
