My prop and extension arrived from Catto the other day. Looks great. Fitted it on and realized that I’ll need to trim my cowling a bit to provide clearance for the prop. Also, I need to scoop out a bit of a concave at the 12 and 5 o-clock positions of the cowlings to allow me to remove the top/bottom cowlings without removing the prop. I found that with a small concave in the top cowling allowed me to slip the cowling off with one of the prop blades in the 12-oclock position. Same with the bottom cowling with one of the blades in the 6 o-clock position.
