Starting to go through the engine and clean up all the ancillary bits. Here’s the process of cleaning up the intake tubes. They were pretty nasty with pealing paint to start. Wire brush cleanup, paint with high-temp paint, bake in the BBQ for 1hr (don’t tell my wife). I love that color – I think I might include a strip of that color on my plane.
