After several weeks of filling and sanding, the fuselage was ready for priming. Spraying upside down to get the belly and under the wings was not much fun. I lifted the nose up to help, but I may have to break out my rotisserie when it comes time for painting. I gave it two good coats of primer. Primer is a great revealer and as I was spraying, some obvious sanding mistakes were showing up. Oh well, that’s to be expected, I guess. I’ll probably do a bit more filling to take care of these issues, re-prime those areas then lay down a guide coat and start blocking. My workshop is a complete dusty mess. I think I’ll take a break tomorrow and do some cleaning.
